NICHOLE HAMILTON

Hello, my name is Nichole, and I'm an artist.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the University of Montevallo near Birmingham, AL, Nichole moved to Atlanta, learning the art of improv and slinging cocktails. She then made a great escape and headed west for fortune and fame. Living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Nichole honed skills as an actor, director, manager, and teacher. After freelancing in California for over seven years, the south called her back. She received her MFA in Acting from the University of Florida in May, 2011. Go Gators.

For the next six years, Nichole retained the nomadic life pursuing theatre opportunities in NYC, MA, FL, GA, TN, NC, and beyond - but always plotting how to get into the Roller Derby. Through her love of story-telling and standup, Nichole devised a solo performance entitled "Dame daDA & the Meta Show" having performed it on various stages at the Burning Man in 2016, the Homegrown Playwrights Festival at Accrosstown Repertory in Florida, the Minnesota Fringe Festival in 2017, and The Duplex Cabaret in New York in the spring of 2018 and returning to the Duplex in June 2019. Nichole now serves as an Assistant Professor of Theatre Arts at New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and teaches classes in Voice, Directing, and Acting for stage and film.

Nichole is a proud member of Actor's Equity, a company member at the Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville Florida, and a teacher candidate with the National Michael Chekhov Association.
